Flat-Out Rocker
Our Flat-Out Rocker is a hybrid flat camber profile where the nose and tail lift off before the traditional contact points, providing effortless turns, and catch-free maneuvers. The lifted nose and tail provide excellent float, pressability, and forgiveness in any terrain. The ultimate hybrid between Zero Camber and Reverse Camber to allow you to have the most playful yet stabile ride for easy progression and all-mountain domination. The profile of choice for park, freestyle, and urban riders worldwide.

Softride Flex
A Nitro exclusive construction: Spider web-like binding raisers allow us to make sweet soft- flexing boards for young shredders while respecting all required standards for binding insert depth and pullout strength. Featured on smaller Ripper and Spirit sizes.

Radial Sidecut
The simplest and most common of all sidecuts: One single radius makes this sidecut extremely versatile and predictable.

Powercore: Performance Driven
Our Powercore uses tip-to-tail poplar wood, providing lightweight strength and the perfect blend of flex, response and feel.

Bi-Lite Laminates: Forgiving and Strong
Our rider-trusted Bi-Lite Laminates are engineered for unrivalled strength, powerful style and refined board-feel.

Premium Extruded FH Base: Easy and Versatile
Durability, speed and low maintenance all in one ultra-clear base material - our FH Base takes the abuse of rail and urban riding like no other.

Great board for progression

I recently got the Ripper for my son to help him progress his tricks and transition towards higher performance boards. His previous board was designed to be very forgiving but as he progressed, the board started to become a hindrance for him hitting jumps and spinning. Jumping to a stiffer full camber board would be a huge change that might discourage him from higher performance board mapping so the Ripper was the perfect stepping stone. It’s a little stiffer and with a flat base it has some pop but still remains more forgiving than a full camber board. By the end of his first day on the Ripper, he was completely comfortable and throwing all his tricks. He was flying better than ever with the added stability of a more performance based board design. Next season he will be ready to step up again and we will be getting him on the Nitro Future Team board for total performance.

Hope this helps you pick the right board for your little rippers.
