My second tire from Dream Runs now that I know about them. Great price and they shipped it promptly. Love the Maxxis DHR II. Great choice for conditions in my area (Exo+, MaxxTerra 3C). Running Assegai up front.
These tires are great. I had 2.35 Ground Control tires on previously, but found that I was constantly slipping and sliding on some new trails in my area. After some research I decided to switch to these and the difference is night and day. Downhill I can go much faster with confidence with basically no slippage. Going uphill and on flat terrain I do notice some increased rolling resistance but its nothing significant (expected when comparing to XC tires). I am using the same tire front and back, but mixing and matching with other tires from Maxxis will result in an more optimized setting. Tons of information on that online. Overall I would highly recommend this tire if you're looking for better grip and braking.
