In Form 2 Fit System
The In Form 2 Fit System is lighter and lower-profile than the original, and easier to dial in a custom fit in seconds - even with gloves on. An improved dial design provides up to 6cm of adjustment plus enhanced stability.

Fidlock Magnetic Buckle Closure
The pinch-free one-handed Fidlock® magnetic snap helmet buckle combines the advantages of two fastening concepts in a completely new way: Strong magnets make it easy to open and close, while a secure snap functionality ensures a continuous locking force.

Thermostat Control

Hybrid Construction
Hybrid Construction merges a durable ventilated Hard Shell upper with an In-Mold Construction lower shell plus sidewalls for added protection and style. What is Spherical Technology?

The unique ball-and-socket design of Spherical Technology utilizes two separate liners to help manage impact forces. The material and density of the inner and outer liners can be optimized with Progressive Layering to help manage a broad range of impact forces: the Insurgent features an outer EPS layer (to address high-speed impacts) and an inner EPP layer (with rebound characteristics designed to handle slower speed falls.) When you combine the benefits of Progressive Layering with the market-leading Mips® Brain Protection System, which can help redirect rotational energy away from the brain, you get more comprehensive protection.

Great Helmet / Unmatched Customer Service

The Helmet:
I ordered the Giro Tor Spherical helmet in a Large. It fit exactly as sized, warm and comfortable. No weird flaring shape making me look like a mushroom to be found here. Helmet is light enough to wear for a while, but feels sturdy and strong. Comes with a cloth bag for storage and keeping a cat from making it into a bed. The Matte Black looks and feels so smooth that I probably could have ordered any color and still loved it. Colors on website is true to life.

The Order:
Helmet arrived a day ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, my head was not as big as I've been told. I processed the helmet for a return using the quick/easy system Dream Runs has in place, hoping to do an exchange, as I picked up the helmet during a sale.

Unfortunately my timing was off and the helmet was processed for a refund. I called up Dream Runs and explained my intent, expressed my desires and asked how long it would take the helmet to ship if I ordered ASAP. Dream Runs helped me get the helmet I wanted, in the correct size and on my head within 2 days. Even Amazon has never had that kind of turnaround for me. These folks care about the customer, and that means I'll be back for more soon!
