Care
If your Dakine bag gets dirty, we recommend hand washing with mild soap (like Nikwax Tech Wash), cold water and a soft bristle brush. If hand washing is not going to do the trick, use a front loader washing machine. To ensure your backpack doesn't get tangled, place inside a pillowcase or mesh bag before washing. Always use cold water, mild soap and run on a gentle cycle. Never bleach your pack. Hang to dry in a warm but shady place, ensuring both inside and out are dry before storing.Needed a low profile backpack for hiking close to the resort - heli pack is still the only option
I was looking for a smaller alternative to the Heli Pro 20l which I find somewhat large for days at the resort. I haven’t used the ski carry yet, but the size is perfect for plenty of snacks, water, wallet, goggles, and to stash extra layers. The backpack is so lightweight and slim that I barely noticed it on my back while skiing and riding the lifts. It’s very comfortable to wear and I’m excited to try it out for short backcountry trips.
