Yes All-In Snowboard Specs
Shape/Profile
Shape: Directional TwinA directional twin snowboard combines the freestyle versatility of a twin shape with a slight directional emphasis. While featuring a symmetrical shape for switch riding, it incorporates a subtle directional aspect, such as a slightly longer nose or setback stance, enhancing performance in one primary direction. This design maintains a playful feel for freestyle maneuvers while optimizing stability and control, particularly in powder or variable conditions. Ideal for riders who enjoy the park but desire enhanced performance on groomers or in specific terrains, a directional twin provides a versatile compromise between freestyle agility and directional stability.
Profile: CamRock 1-4-1
Camrocker boards have a profile where the center of the board is closer to the snow, and the nose and tail are raised.
Enhances float in powder, makes turn initiation easier, and is generally more forgiving.
May sacrifice some edge hold and stability compared to traditional camber.
Construction
ExtrudedYES Snowboards' extruded bases are durable, low-maintenance, and cost-effective, making them ideal for beginner and casual riders. Created by melting polyethylene pellets and molding them, these bases have lower porosity, requiring less waxing and simplifying tuning. While sintered bases offer higher performance, extruded bases provide a smoother learning curve and forgiving ride in various conditions.
Poplar/Paulownia
YES Snowboards' Poplar/Paulownia core is crafted from 50% Poplar and 50% Paulownia. Poplar offers lightweight consistency and flex, enhancing agility. Paulownia, even lighter, ensures weight reduction while maintaining strength. This blend creates a lightweight, responsive, and durable snowboard, perfect for various riding styles and conditions.
BIAX
Biaxial or "Biax" fiberglass consists of fibers running in two directions, typically along the length and width of the board. This construction provides a balanced flex pattern, making the snowboard more forgiving and easier to control. It enhances torsional flexibility, allowing for smoother turns and maneuvers, which is particularly beneficial for riders who prioritize a playful and versatile riding experience rather than aggressive performance.
Features
FOREVER FLEX
Forever Flex is a manufacturing process that helps stabilize the flex and rocker profile of a board for its lifetime. Our boards now finish the first stages of production slightly overbuilt and then we “break them in” using a specialized machinery that mimics extreme riding use. By flexing the fresh board fibers and epoxy at the factory the materials settle into their final arrangement within the board layup much the same as if you rode the board for 20 days. This process helps us narrow our production tolerances so the board you buy has a more accurate specified flex and rocker profile that will change less as you ride it more.
