Technologies
Amplifier Lens TechnologyThe unique aspect of Amplifier is the shape of the visible light transmission curve, optimizing three specific wave lengths: blue, orange and red. These ranges of light are the most important for the human eye to enhance contrast and clarity.
Magnetic Visor Mechanism
The Blend Plus is featured with a clever Magnetic Visor Mechanism, the visor can be securely positioned in lower and upper position through the use of magnets to offer maximum freedom of use.
Visor Fit Padding
To have a perfect fit between visor and nose, we implemented a modular padding into our Blend Plus helmet. For a personal fit, take out the grey patch you find in the liner and try the helmet with visor on with and without, choose what suits you best!
MIPS Brain Protection System
MIPS is a low-friction layer inside the helmet which allows the head to rotate relative to the helmet in an angled impact. This substantially reduces rotational violence and the potential for damage to the brain.
Visor Change System
The visor is attached on the helmet by two ropes with a lock. The ropes are here to guide the visor to lower and upper positions. It also prevents the visor from falling off of the helmet. The visor can be changed easily as you would change goggles by unclipping the locks from the shell.
So, this helmet has built in goggles held on by magnets and reinforced with a slim piece of thread on each side as a safety. I took a really hard fall, the magnets popped off and one side of the string broke. For the rest of the week I struggled awkwardly with the built in goggles. Nice idea, but the execution isn’t quite right.
