Good frame, awful lens

I bought these because I already have a pair of Scott Linx. The model is discontinued but I liked the goggle so I figured I’d buy a backup. The frame has large vents which makes it virtually fog-free. Plenty of air flow. I have other larger goggles that have small vents which are easily blocked by my cheeks and or the face mask. These goggles do not suffer from that and provide plenty of air flow that works very well to prevent fogging. Or rid the lens of fog if they fog up a bit when riding an encolsed lift. Which is why I like this goggle. However, the “normal” lenses are good. They work fine. The photochromatic light sensitve lens is terrible. While it looked great sitting in the lodge, when I got it on snow it did this weird, dark at the top light at the bottom thing that made me alternate between vertigo, nausea, and not being able to see at all. I have other non-photochromatic lenses from the original pair as well as the extra lens that came with this new pair. After the first run, I threw the photochromatic "light sensitive" lens in the trash and used one of the normal lenses.
